Greets ryanrfrederick ,
I'm wondering if anyone's been able to reliably boot a zfs on gpt
raidz* array on VirtualBox lately. I was able to up until a couple
days ago when I updated to the latest version (4.0.8). Now I'm
receiving the dreaded "all block copies are unavailable" error.
There seem to be well known problems with gpt & zfs on VirtualBox.
Just wondering if anyone's come up with a reliable workaround.
That usually happens when the bootloader (and the BIOS) does not see every member of the RAID-Z set. Check the bootloader messages (disk0, disk1, ...)
