ok, I got everything and compiled it.
sbbs errors out with this error. can't find or something libjs.so.
I copied it into the /sbbs/exec dir and still no luck.
any ideas? i.e. HELP!
I am using redhat 9 mostly all stock.

Refer to the comments in section 1-D and use JSLIB=mozjs and specify the appropriate JSLIBDIR

hmm, ok, now sbbs says it can't find any of the other .so files.

do we run sbbs as root or as a user?

Either. See docs/sbbscon.txt, section 5 for details.

as root, rh9 won't let stuff run it thinks is not sucure to run as root.
I have tryed to do configing stuff and it stops it saying sound'nt run as root.
