    Hi All,

Ok, It's been a while since I've setup nat, forwarding, firewalls or anything on a router, I used to have cisco that I could telnet to to point the outside ip to the corrrect inside ip with no trouble, now I have a 2wire wireless router and everything is graphical, I've went as far as setting up dmzplus mode, which I know is dangerous, and I've also opened all required ports up and pointed them to my bbs machine but the 2wire router is'nt showing a public ip adress and is not forwarding the ports, nayoneone have any idea what gives here? I have windows firewall working corrrectly.. here is some data from the 2wire gui setup.

Device Allowed Applications Private IP address Public IP address
    user-0a286e9781 FTP Server
^^ this system used to be wired to my hub and does'nt exist on the network anymore and I cannot delete it from the table.

    DNS Server
    POP3 Server
    SMTP Server
    SSH Server
    Telnet Server
    Web Server
    0.0.0.0
    vexed2-b32bcad6 All 69.40.17.46
^^^ This is the system with the BBS

this is the setup with dmzplus and I cannot get it to do anymore

it wont setup corrrectly using nat or whatever.. lemme see if I can get data on that
this gui crap has made it harder thatn ever to get things done, it used to be so easy just to telnet into my cisco box.

Ahhhh I see now.. I was assigning to both systems and did'nt know it.. with me luck!
