    Tabbed browsing is a curse!

I have 31 tabs open right now, and can't afford to close any of them.

You can always go back to old school and open in new window.

Bo-ring! :-) Actually, when I had the window with 31 tabs open, I *also*
had a second window with 5 more tabs open. Right now I only have 10 tabs open.

A needed feature in Firefox is the ability to "tear off" a tab and make a
    new window with it.

Well, two features that come in handy.. you can save an entire set of tabs in a single bookmark folder... also, you can drag a tab to a new browser window to open it there...

Not what you are looking for, but probably wouldn't be hard to add a little extension, may even be a setting for right clicking a tab and "move to new window" or something like that... should check in #firefox on freenode or irc.mozilla.org to see if there's already an option for what youa re wanting....

That gets complicated... more of gtk needs to be used, and analyse how the GIMP did it, I'm guessing. But I'm not a programmer.

    I got a couple of those t-shirts...

In other words... Done that and then some...

When I'm putting together a quote for a client, I tend to have that and sometimes more. Trying to find the best prices, best parts/components,
free shipping... Sometimes, I swear I spend more time quoting out systems,
than I do installing the damn things!

Yes, I use that a lot. Very useful.

also, you can drag a tab to a new browser window to open it there...

I didn't know that. Useful, but...

Not what you are looking for, but probably wouldn't be hard to add a little extension, may even be a setting for right clicking a tab and "move to new window" or something like that...

That's more what I had in mind.
