Help! I'm trying to add a background to my website: www.ralphsmole.com
I modified the CSS with the following line:body

{

background-image: url(/images/island.jpg) }

.MSC_Body



But..the image keeps tiling. I even tried adding no repeat to the code,but
it doesn't work. Any ideas?

How did you do the no repeat, like this:

background-image: url(/images/island.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;
}

I added it, but after doing so my background image disappeared,so I took it back out.

Use Dreamweaver.

Also rip open or 'view' in notepad other peoples .css sheets from websites. See how they color in backgrounds or use an image just for a bar, or an entire non moving background, or fill in the color behind it.

You could put an animated .gif as well as a .jpg.

By the way if slim fast isn't working you can go straight to metamucil.
