For what computer? The C64, 128 or the Amiga?

I had all 3 at one time! *LOL* Too bad the 128 and Amiga were poorly marketed. They were great computers but had a very quick death. So I changed to IBM/PC Compatible.

The first PC compat. computer I owned had the harddrive crashed in it when I recieved it, They had to replace it.. a whopping $700.00 for a 10 meg HD..

those wer the days.. I'm glad their over.. although I was able to run A bbs with a few FIDONET areas and some doors and files on that 10 meg hd for a while before I got a CD changer and a HD upgrade.

Yeah, I remember first seeing a 120MB IDE drive and thinking, I don't think I could fill that... Windows and AutoCAD 12 and still had lots of room to spare... Then came CDs, like you said.. ;) Now HDs are so massive that CDs and even DVDs are almost insane in backing them up...

Setup a 2.2TB raid5 array for use here at home for all the media files... which is nice.. really want to get a more quiet HTPC in the living room now though.. since it's not doing DVR duties anymore, mainly playback from networked media, I may put LinuxMCE on it, and give that a shot.
