    Howdy! Poindexter FORTRAN.

You wrote last year about using K-Meleon on Your older machines.
So I downloaded K-Meleon v75.1 and use it ocassionaly.

I went to youtube Today and got a screen that said:

    "Please Update your browser"

So I downloaded the Release Candidate 76RC2 but thought before installing it
I would ask what the phrase "Release Candidate" meant?

You know I'm not a Mister-Know-It-All, I just act like one often.

I am not sure if that is a File for Develpors to modify or if a User can
safely install it as an Update.

The Date on Version 75.1 was in 2015, and this Release Candidiat was issued
    the next Year (2016).

They might be real old files, but I'm using a XP computer that is considered outdated by the "REAL WORLD" crowd.

    Thanks, 73 de Ed W9ODR . .

YouTube just does a version check of Firefox, Chrome and IE - and
gets confused by browsers it doesn't know. I wouldn't worry about it
    if YouTube works.

Release Candidates are the last test versions before a final version
is released. The progression normally goes: Alpha version (lots of
bugs) Beta version (getting better) Release Candidate (one last final
    check) Release version.
