Buddy of mine keeps like 50 browser tabs open on Chrome, he said Firefox jus can't handle it and if Chrome crashes you can run it and continue working in much less time than firefox.
There's an app, that I've not yet trusted to use (it stores all of
the relevant data [unencrypted, I believe] in the cloud, so that you can access it from any machine with the relevant browser) called TabCloud.
You can save every session that you have open from browser crash or
unexpected shutdown and restore it from absolutely anywhere with net
access when you've got it installed and active.
I've got the same browsing habits as your friend, and an IT
developer friend of mine came across this-- he's even worse than me with
the 50+ browser tabs-- and recommended that I use it. I'm just too damn paranoid. I'd check it out, I've never had a bogus recommendation from
him.
