• Change your passwords

From Matt Munson@VERT/INLANDUT to All on Friday, June 08, 2012 19:52:35
    Hello everybody.

Recently users of Linked In and Last.FM had their passwords hacked. Personally as a user of Last.FM I changed my password as soon as possible.

Please change your password or use programs such as LastPass, 1Password or Keepass to help manage your passwords.

With many companies not allowing us to have a password like 12345678 or PASSWORD, having a good password manager program is an essential buddy in your online adventures.

Perhaps do a yearly event and go through your passwords and change them once a year and try your best to have a different password for each website you visit to protect your security.

    Matt

it doesnt matter how often you change your pw because these fucking websites dont care about the security of their users.

it's not the user end that is causing the problems all these times when these websites get their user acct info stolen and posted online.

best thing to do is boycott these sites.
