• Plastic model kits

From Nightfox@VERT/DIGDIST to All on Monday, November 02, 2009 13:35:45
Every once in a great while, I've enjoyed putting together model kits. As a fan of Star Trek, a couple years ago I bought a model of the Enterprise 1701-A and finished it in February last year: http://home.comcast.net/~nightfox/EnterpriseModel_2008-02-02.jpg
There are some places where the paint job probably could have been better, but this was the first model kit I had built in about 13 years..

Unfortunately the model has broken in a move, which doesn't help with motivation to build more, but as a Star Trek geek, I wouldn't mind building more Star Trek ship models at some point..

    ROFLMAO!

Wal-Mart banned me and my friends from buying duster when we were teens, glad they did.. well the officialy did'nt but I respected the dude who worked the electronic counter when they actually had an electronics dept you could get what you need in and he told us that we could'nt but no more than one can a week.. glad he cared that much for us because I would otherwise would probably be dead... I just stuck to the weed after that than graduated to pills.. never used to sniff glue though.

I seen two teens in the wally world the other day, had to be huffers, they bought two cans of krylon gold that must be their color of choice because everytime they caught huffers on tv they had gold all over they nose and mouth.. sad but funny nonetheless.

Yes I sell that product, and some people like 59 years old get offended that the product has to be locked up. I just say silly people want to get high off that product and people still want to steal the paint to tag the neighborhoods. its a shame that the retailers have to take direct action to prevent the use of aerosols by people who abuse them instead of the parents taking a direct approach with their kids and teaching them the dangers of huffing paint, taking drugs, etc.... of course, i used weed when i was younger, it was OK, it was fun to get high, but it really wasn't for me... especially when my friend decided to try coke and heroin and got really messed up... luckilly now he is clean, but that really opened my eyes there, and i got off the stuff quick...

of course... i have to have cameras watching my parking lot because the parents won't keep their kids off my cars and messing them up... so i guess you can't expect them to keep their kids off the glue either...

Ahh.. I see.. I was always wondering why when on cops everytime they busted a huffer they were golden.. :) I just thought since it was a cheap high the people doing it though that if it was gold maybe they thought they were a litte richer :)

sad shit man.. I tried duster once.. could'nt stand it.. I dunno how people can do that crap.

I once tried feather duster, but it made me sneeze too much.
hmm, maybe I should have ground it up finer....

I also did guarana once too, wow, stuff is worse than drugs...
