It's here! It looks in excellent condition! It's back in the box after a cursory examination, and will be examined more thoroughly tomorrow, or
over the weekend.
This $99 aircraft cost $299 to reach me, including $155 shipping and $45 excise duty. After I've paid off the mortgage I had to take out to clear
it this morning, I then have to look at a set of retracts and an engine, plus other smaller stuff. It won't be a quick build.
But that's OK, because our new field is a pile of rocks. I've actually flown on it

beating the rest by a day (heh! heh!) but it isn't something I want to do with a brand new aeroplane with retractable gear! Not until it's in much better condition, with the worst of the rocks out, and the 7-ton roller
gone over it, and some grass grown'n'mown a few times.
I have been wanting to get a RC aircraft for some time now. Seeing the pictu made up my mind! Thanks,Angus :-)
Don't try to do it on your own. It's not as easy as it looks. Locate a club near you, and get the help and advice of experienced RC flyers. They can suggest radio equipment, steer you away from particular planes that
are difficult to fly/easy to crash, give lessons on piloting, help with assembly, and generally keep you from killing yourself, or becoming disillusioned in the event of an accident.
Thanks,Angus! Appreciate the heads up :-)
