Are you talking about an RC trainer?

I don't know of too many RC pilots on this net. I personally don't have anything that could function as a trainer, and even if I did, I'm not ideally located to pass it on.
Are you willing to consider a new trainer? Our club has given a lot of thought to this question, and we've tried a lot of machines. The general consensus is that the Hobbico AviStar:
http://www.hobbico.com/airplanes/hcaa2016.html
is the best of the lot. The semi-symmetrical wing section extends the useful life of this aircraft considerably, since you don't hit the performance wall that flat-bottomed wing sections present to the novice pilot who wants to extend his ability. Also, several of our members have "straightened the wing" by cutting it in half and rejoining it with zero dihedral. Or buying a spare set of wing panels and so having one standard wing, and one straight. The AviStar with a straight wing is a very
capable aerobat!
The aircraft is on sale for $100 new. A basic engine would set you back another $60, and a radio maybe $120.
Of course, none of this info is any use to you if you particularly want to get a used aeroplane -- unless you want to check eBay or something for one...
