I did a preliminary balance this AM with the entire aircraft in one piece,
and found that the balance was pretty much dead-on. With that, I began marking and cutting the cowl.

It's tricky. The cowl is very tight. Even with the cowl cut, I'll have
to take the cylinder head off to put the cowl in place, or remove it
later. I have to make two major cuts (cylinder and manifold) and two
minor ones (carburetor inlet and needle-jet). And when they are done,
I'll have to add slots/vents to allow cooling air to enter, and hot air to escape.
I also need to find a 3mm tap to borrow.
No test-flight today, unfortunately. :-(.
