Okay, my Seabee, currently under construction
http://www.anjo.com/rc/aircraft/seabee/
comes with a large sheet of water-transfer markings that can be applied to
the model. The markings include the aircraft's name and a seial number. These will obviously be stuck along the side of the fuselage UPSIDE DOWN
son they can easily be read when I make low, inverted passes! :-)
The markings say:
SEA BEE S168 EX
Now, with the help of a web-page or two, I've been trying to anagram these letters to come up with something clever. I can't do much with the 168,
but the letters SEA BEE EX can be anagrammed to give me stuff like SEX and AXE. If I modify the E's, I can get F's and/or L's. and also I's. So
with two E's modified to F's I get words like BEEF and BEEFS, FAX and
FAXES. Altering two E's to L's gives BELL/BELLS, BALE/BALES, BALL/BALLS, BELLE/BELLES, SLAB, BLASE, SELL, etc, etc.
Google for 'Anagram', pick a result and try your own! I've been using
http://www.wordsmith.org/anagram/advanced.html
Also since there are two copies of each marking, I could use both sets of letters to create a single word/phrase for the starboard side of the
aircraft. With modified letters, this gives things like BASEBALL.
Trouble is, most of the anagram programs try to include ALL letters and
will exclude any nice solutions with letters left over! Damnit... And
they only generate legitimate words, not considering anything that might
be considered incorrct spelling (like NITE instead of NIGHT, not that I
have an N anyway, but by way of example).
Anyone care to suggest a clever, _tasteful_ name that can be made up from
the available letters? Preferably a single set (so I can get two copies
of the name) but a single name made from both sets of letters is of
interest too. Pity the numbers don't have a 2 and/or a 4 in them....
