Do you recall the idiot flying the Sopwith Pup inverted, low over the
field? He's ba-ack! This time it's an Acrowat, which is loosely based on
the Czech Zlin-50. This guy bitterly complains about pilots doing silly things. Then he snaps a few rums, and:
(Nice knife-edge! Barely any rudder to hold it!) Tony had control
failure, and saved the aircraft literally inches from the ground to watch
it go up and up and over and downnnn. We found it and there was
very little damage to the fuse (just the wing-bolt plate pulled out), but
a piece of wild tamarind a couple inches thick had buzz-sawed through
three quarters of the port wing near the tip...
It's getting so a crash-helmet and cutlass are essential acoutremont for
the model flyer these days!
