Well crap.

The stepper motors that I pulled out of old printers were all bipolar, which requires building an H-bridge for each one. I'm not up for that tonight.

So.. I'm looking at this stack of Apple Disk ][ drives ... :)

hehe... Wasn't this one designed by Woz himself?

These drives have big, fat 4-phase unipolar steppers to move the head. Wheee...
