So my brother got me an electric RC copter for Christmas. :-)

It's an RTF, extremely light weight bird called the E sky Honey Bee 2 (www.esky-sz.com).

It comes with a PC interface for the radio and trainer software that you are strongly encouraged to master before starting up the real thing. I'll be plugging that sucker in soon. :-)

It is very cool. The manual is very incomplete, and in poorly translated "chinglish". The "trainer" CD doesn't have an obvious installation process or root level "setup.exe", so I'll have to fumble my way through that one. My brother got himself one too, so we'll be able to help eachother out with tips and such.

Damn. I love mustard. Especially on hot dogs and pastrami. :-(

We do have xmas card with photos of the girls headed your way though.

I'll only tell you this one thing about helis, that I have learned from observation: When they go, they go *real* fast, and the destruction is widespread. First time I watched a heli eat itself I was amazed that such
a small machine could wreak such widespread, total destruction in only
    0.35 nano-seconds!

This is a super lightweight fragile model, so think a "crash-kit" would consist of a whole new Heli most likely. :-)

They're great. Eliza's finally putting multiple word sentences together. She's not dumb though mind you, she can work a DVD and TV remote better than many adults and plays video games better than her (male) cousins of the same age. She doesn't spend as much time in front of the tube as that sounds. She goes to dance (ballet/tap) class twice a week and loves it. Emma has been crawling all around for a while now. She's eats and drinks (milk) a lot and is very vocal. She's a big (little) girl too, if that makes sense.

And Elizabeth is Martha Stewart all over again. :-)

So far I've had no luck with the "training software". The documentation is basically non-existent and I don't think the tranny-computer interface is really working. The software was "designed for Windows 95", so it's a bit of out date and just may not work correctly on more recent OSes.

So far I've had no luck with the "training software". The documentation
    is basically non-existent and I don't think the tranny-computer
interface is really working. The software was "designed for Windows
95", so it's a bit of out date and just may not work correctly on more recent OSes.

I might suggest using Virtual PC and installing a Win95 OS on your
system to install the said traning software on. Just a thought... I
have an old program my father used to make family calendars each year,
since he passed, it was my place to create them this year. I looked
everywhere for a program that could replace the ancient thing, but have
found none... since it won't work with XP, I installed a Win98 and Win95
OS to operate this program. Works like a champ.

I did this myself with my oldest. She got very irate at me for it. It
helped my nerves, but from what I've found out a few years later, it
didn't stop anything from actually occuring... Maybe invest in a steel
chasity belt. Thats about the only way. :)

Hopefully it won't come to that. I do have some other older systems around that I'm not using (and circa Win95/98), but I'm going to wait to see if my brother has any more luck than I. It could just be the tranny. <shrug>
