...sometimes my own intelligence astounds me! :-/
So I'm building an experimental wing for the BrightStar
http://www.anjo/com/rc/aircraft/brightstar/index.php
If it works, it should be good. 27-28" semi-spam, tapered in depth as
well as plan-form, separate servos to barn-door ailerons instead of strip-ailerons, and a semi-symmetrical section derived from the top
section of the original brightstar wing but reduced in depth below the camber-line.
There is a change in taper at rib #3, so the first three ribs are designed different (marginally) to the remaining six ribs. I glue them all to the upper main-spar (building upside-down so as to have a flat top surface)
then I realise that I've got ribs 1-3 in backwards. I can tell, because
the slots on the bottom (which is now *up*) are all aligned except for
ribs 1-3 wherein the angle of the slot is reversed. Damn! Well, at least only one glue-joint involved.
So I cut the three offending ribs off the spar. *THEN* it occurs to me
that if ribs 1-2-3 were accidentally positioned in reverse order 3-2-1
that only *TWO* ribs are actually wrong...... :-/
