    Tony,

Yet another hobby I don't have a ton of time for - LOL.

LOL another one that occupies a bit of my time. :)

    Just a wee bit?? <G>

Haha, especially when I've been building a low cost SDR on a Pi. ;)

Well, SDR actually stands for "Spousally Declined Radio". Never mind
that [insert month here] is 'Buy Your Spouse A Ham Radio Month'". <G>

Or the meme where there are 3 items next to the door, for the wife's
usage, when her husband gets home late, as follows:

    1) Wooden And Metal Spoon - He's Late.
    2) Rolling Pin - He's Drunk.
    3) Rifle - He Bought Another Ham Radio.

Or the story of the ham who had his shack in the basement. His wife
never went down there, but told him that "you will not be bringing any
    new rigs home!!".

Well, he was lucky enough to have "a candy store" that sold and
repaired ham radio gear in his town. He thought of a scheme, and took
an old box that one of his rigs was in, and carried up the steps,
telling her that "his rig quit working", so he was going to take it
in for service. His wife told him "I'll see you for dinner tonight".

He got home late that afternoon, with his "box", gushing that "they
fixed it and got it working again". What he did NOT tell her was that
there was a NEW RIG inside that box.

That worked for a bit...until she figured out what was going on
    (hi hi).

Well, being widowed, I don't have to worry about any of them.
I'm into heavy drinking, but that's a half gallon of diet green
tea citrus a day...to keep hydrated in this heat, and to keep
my kidneys from producing stones. If it's more than one, I'll
name them "Sly And The Family Stone". <G>

I want to know how long it took her to catch on??

Heard on a packet net Monday night that a ham finally got all the
stations for the 13 colonies special event station this past weekend.
He said "that and $5 will get me a certificate...my wife will be
thrilled for me". I just wonder who's paying the $5?? <G>

Reminds me of a buddy I used to go to gun shows with. He'd buy a rifle, and w hen his wife wasn't home he'd put it in his safe with the rest and not talk about it. The next time we went to the range he'd bring it out, and she'd ask "where'd you get that one?" He'd reply he had it quite some time, and it was sitting in the back of the safe. He wasn't exactly lying about it :)

A water works well for me, and the occasional tea, with coffee as a treat.
