I've now added the tail-skid and shrown on some rigging for the truss-work
at the rear of the model. I suspect the rigging won't last, and I'll
either remove it or not replace it when it wears out. But for the photo session, I'll leave it on there to make the model look good! :-)

The biggest job left is probably painting the pilot. That and covering.
The servo tray has to be put into place but that's a fairly straight-
forward glue-job. The engine mount has to be drilled and the engine
fitted, then removed again for covering. I have to drill two holes in the ailerons to accept the torque rods, and that's about it. Then covering,
    and final assembly.

Now I have to go and buy a 7/64" drill-bit...

And that's what counts (at first), right? :-)

    Absolutely! :-)

Sadly, I "want the gear back" from this model *already*. That's not a
good sign. I bought the kit back in August 2002, and it still hasn't seen
the sky yet. I am working to finish it, not because I want to get it
flying, but because I want to free up my workbench for something new.
Either an A-10 Warthog (glider) or an X-29A canard with the forward-swept
wing (also a glider). And I want to get my Percival Mew Gull together as well. <shrug>
