• Model aerobatics

There are a series of popular aerobatic models that are frequently seen at
R/C flying fields -- these are the scale aerobats like the Extra 300S and 330S, the Edge 540, the CAP 232, and the Sukhoi Su-26 and Su-31.

(The Sukhoi, BTW is made by the same russian company that made the Su-27 Flanker. Now *there's* a model I'd like to own!)

I don't much like these aircraft. They are all fairly identical in appearance. If I wanted a scale aerobat, I'd go for a scale bipe, of the open-cockpit type (Stearman) rather than a closed cockpit type (Pitts).
But if I _DID_ have to buy one of the clones, I think it would be the
    Sukhoi.

Here is a photo of a Sukhoi making a memorable landing at an air exhibit:

Whaddya think of that then? :-)

Nope. It's a full-sized Sukhoi with a real, live, human pilot visible in
the cockpit. :-) Good one, isn't it? Note the truly amazed spectator!

You'd probably call this a /very/ low, inverted pass.......
