• New Transmitter

From Richard Claunch@VERT/SELDOM to All on Monday, May 05, 2014 16:09:28
OK Please be nice. I am building my first RC plane. Heck I have never done RC ever in my life. I am building a Dollar Tree foam Old Fogey. My question is... a transmitter. I have been looking at the Flysky FS-T6.... Anyone use it. Remember I am a newbie. Looking to just get into the hobbie.

Thanks for any input on the FS-T6 unit.

Haven't got a clue, but could picture some serious fun with a project
like that... Picture if you will Tim Allen building his own RC Plane from scratch. Or better yet... RC Car... Take a 5 HP Lawn Mower Engine, and use
it with a couple of Rail Road Beams cut down to about 4' long, welded
together to form the basis of the frame of the 'car'. Weld some Steel Beams
on the front of the frame for a solid "Brush Guard". When finished, you have one heavy duty RC 4x4 truck that's capable of putting a serious dent in cars. If driven right, and it can manage to get under neith the back of a car, and wedge it in just right, you may be able to use it to move cars out of your
way in parking lots! I can just see that one! You drive to walmart and say "Ugh! The lots all full!" Park in the middle, of the lane, open your door, let your parking buddy out, crank the engine and turn on the controls....
Drive him where you want, ram the car, pul it back and out a bit.... Drive
full speed ahead towards the street... Slam on the breaks to release the
car... Now return the parking buddy, and get your car into the parking spot before some other jerk grabs it! When you get out and they question you
about the car, you have no idea, the parking spot was empty when you got
    there!

I used to build and fly RC gliders when I was in HS, about 30 years ago. I used a Futaba brand transmitter. I have no idea about the FS-T6. What
    exactly is your question?

That is way more advanced than any that I ever used. How much is it going to set you back? How many channels? The one I had had only 2 channels. But I used it for gliders, so I did not have to have any for power.

Hi.... The transmitter low cost 55 dollars shipped to the house.

If want to check it out there is a youtube video.

Let me know what you think. For the money it is great. Electronics are so cheap today.

    Take care....

Guh up the effbomb down wif yr bad self; seriously. That means 'shut
the effbomb up, in the parlance of the first child I raised from birth
on . . . I recommend it because my patience with people that are only
interested in passing judgement and making pointless jabs without
knowing the exact facts about what they're dealing with is waning.
    Consider yrself warned.
