i used teamviewer for a few years. the problem is their support sucks. it's almost non existent. i wont pay for it if that's what they have to show me.

I think TeamViewer is free for personal use.

I think TeamViewer is free for personal use.

It is but it is nagging me all the time to buy it because they saw suspicious activities as in business... I only use teamviewer on my own PC, friends and Family. Complaint stop harrasing me I'm like using it illegal, I'm using it only personal.

I just got one of those emails from TeamViewer. It said to ignore it if I'm not using it commercially (and I'm not), so I did. <shrug>

It's such a simple thing to use I haven't had a need for support in 5 yrs of using it. I think the first version i tried might have been 8 or 9.

but i agree i wouldn't pay for any RA service there's too many good free choices.

    Thanks,

I agree, I'v eused TeamViewer several times, and it's simple enough that I don't think I'd need technical support for it.. I haven't used it in a long time though; I first used it in 2010 and I think the last time I used it was maybe 2012 or so?

people got locked out from the teamviewer service a while back and support wasnt on the ball about it. there were false positives about them being used commercially.

that's why i brought them up
