most clients have a text upload function, though.
What is text upload?
you choose it, search for the file, select it and it shits it up on the terminal
Is that different from a file upload? I've never
most of the time it is different. with iniquity you could do zmodem
upload
of a text file and it would appear in your msg.
of a "text upload" before (and I've been using BBSes since 1992).
i'm surprised.
That sounds like a useful feature. It's possible I may have seen it before but have forgotten about it. My favorite terminal software back in the day was Telemate, and I had used Telix and Procomm Plus a bit too. I'm wondering if they supported text upload and I forgot or didn't realize it..
Yeah, they usually called it "ASCII Upload" however. SyncTERM has it too.
