Recently I have had the pleasure of finding two BBS's that run via Raspberry PI's
I have been looking into this little wonder and I am now thinking I might buy one to run My BBS from home, the Model I want is the Raspberry PI 2 model B with a 4 core 900mhz processor, hdmi slot, 4USB slots and a SD card slot.
I also found that Microsoft has an RTM release of windows 10 for the PI.
The one BBS I was able to log on to is Dogtown bb.kiwi.net and it's suprisingly fast, it runs on Mystic, can't remember what the name of the other one was since it was down when I tried to log in, but it runs Synchronet.

FYI, the version if "Windows" that runs on the rpi boards isn't quite the
same as what you use on an x86/64 or RT based desktop/tablet... It's really for development, and may not run Synchronet well, definitely unlikely to run doors... best bet is probably going to be from Raspian (not sure where ubuntu or debian proper support is currently).

I'm currently experimenting with a Pi 2 with Mystic BBS software, and I discovered today that I can compile and run DayDream BBS Software. It's a lot of fun and it seems to have plenty of speed for running a BBS.

I'm running mine without a monitor, keyboard or mouse. I just ssh into it,
and I have samba running so I can easily copy files to and from it. To keep things speedy, I just boot to the login prompt, not the desktop.

I look forward to moving my board over to it in the next few weeks!
