I found a copy of Bluewave 386 it runs fine in DosBox. I downloaded a QWK packet from my bbs, and replied to a message, and uploaded the .REP. Sbbs throws up an errors: "!Filtering QWK message from (null) due to age: 1459 days"

So should I assume from this that Bluewave QWK is not compatible with sbbs?

Most likely, a Y2K bug (in Bluewave). There were patches available for BlueWave to fix that, if I recall correctly.

I use BLueWave 386/dos and it work fine with SBBS

... He knew everything about literature, except how to enjoy it.
