³I was using magicjack as my bbs dial up line until I ran my wardailer on the ³magicjack. They did not like that and kick me off. As to porting I am not sure ³but the number they give you works through the United States.

A "Wardailer" is basically a program that dials every phone number in a range with a modem looking for other modems.

If you need a good example of a wardialer in action, watch the old 80s flick "War Games" with Matthew Broadrick. At one point he uses a wardailer and finds a modem connected to a bank, and eventually the NORAD backdoor system.

So yeah... MajicJack is a good service, but apparently they frown upon setting up your computer and making a ton of phone calls on it.

LOL! For some reason, when I read the original e-mail, my eyes broke the
word as "ward-ailer." "War-dialer" makes a lot more sense! :O "War
Games" is one of my favorite '80's movies, so I should have known better!
