    Thanks in advance,

Is it a thumbs.db file? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_thumbnail_cache for details.

    Hay,

That's a thumbs.db file from Windows Explorer. As far as I know, Windows Explorer creates one of these in every folder that contains pictures (and videos?) upon first opening that folder so that subsequent visits to that folder will not have a long wait time before thumbnail icons appear. The thumbs.db file is updated when there are changes to the directory contents.

If you're browsing to your uploads folder using Windows Explorer, and if that folder contains files that Windows thinks are images, your system may be creating the thumbs.db file.

You can turn off thumbnail caching by navigating to the following in your regi stry:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

And changing the value of "DisableThumbnailCache" to 1, or if "DisableThumbailCache" does not exist, create it as a new DWORD with a value of 1.

In Windows? Probably a thumbs.db file. That's the thumbnails database for the folder you're in. Probably Image files or Video files. You can turn it off in Folder Options.
