  • Update Address on License?

    Anyone know how long it takes for an address change to take effect on the FCC license database? I just updated it, but when I search my record, it still shows my previous address of 1598 Parkhill ln se, bogue chitto, ms 39629. Also, on the logbook of the world, do they mail the certificate out to the address the FCC shows? Kinda why I'd hope they update my address quickly.

    Did you test with a VE? or update oneline? depending on circumstances it can take anyware form 2 days to two week.

    When I tested through the VE, that had it sent to the FCC via priority mail, and it take 4 dats to show on ULS.

    They tend to stay on top of the licensing.

    It normally should take place within 24 hours, if you do it online.

    You can call the FCC during regular business hours at 1-888-225-5322 (1-888-CALL-FCC).

    I submit all the license deals through ARRL/VEC, as I'm one of their
    VE Team Leaders. Normally going through them, it takes 1 to 2 weeks to process...but if it's seemingly delayed, I call them to find out what's
    going on.

    No, I just updated it online using their ULS. Thankfully, I managed to get a copy of my LOTW certificate e-mailed
    to me without needing to have them send a post card with a code on it, like last time....
