Nigel Cawthorne, G3TXF, will be at the helm of the Kosovo Amateur Radio Association (SHRAK[1]) station Z60A during the CQ WPX[2] CW contest over the Memorial Day weekend. SHRAK is the newest International Amateur Radio Union (IARU[3]) member society. The operation[4] will be in preparation for SHRAK's debut as an official headquarters station for the IARU HF Championship[5]ÿJuly 9-10.

SHRAK became an IARU member last December. For the IARU HF Championship in July, SHRAK will operate Z60A from multiple stations around the country.

As part of a wider promotion of Amateur Radio in Kosovo, a permanent club station is being built at the Technical University in Pristina. To support the initiative, the UK DX Foundationÿÿ
