Has anyone got the pin outs for a SignaLink Cable from the unit to the aux in on the Icom 756 Pro III,

I cant seem to find a lead pin-out anywhere

I use a Signalink USB with my 756 Pro III. Page 20 of the 756 Pro III manual tells you the pinout of the ACC (1) port:

    http://www.download.n7tgb.net/Icom_Manuals/IC-756pro3_manual.pdf

Meanwhile the Signalink USB's pinout is user-configurable. The JP1 IC socket in the Signalink USB (if that's what you have) is used for making jumper-wire connections to suit the cable that's connected to the RJ-45 port. One side is labelled with which part of the Signalink it connects to, the other is labelled with the RJ-45 pin number.

I built my own cable with a straight pinout between the RJ-45 contacts and the pins on the DIN-8 connector. That made it straight-forward to jumper PTT, etc. to the appropriate ACC (1) pins via JP1.

If you're using a pre-built cable and don't know how its DIN-8 pins correspond its RJ-45 contacts, you can figure it out by using a multimeter with a continuity indicator/buzzer. Plug the RJ-45 connector into the Signalink, put one multimeter lead on the JP1 pin labelled 1, then put the other multimeter lead on each pin of the DIN connector until you find continuity. Move on to JP1 pin 2 and repeat, writing down the results as you go along. Once you know which contacts on the RJ-45 connector go to which pins on the DIN connector, you can jumper GND, PTT, MIC, and SPK on JP1 to go to the right pins on ACC (1).

    Hope this helps.
