Migrating hosts... switching off the cloud VPS to a VM on a dedicated server... I took it down yesterday morning, and got busy with a few things, will probably be back up tomorrow or the day after as time permits.

Migration appears to have worked... :-) After several days of playing with Proxmox, a dedicated CIDR, and a private/nat network, iptables, along with many dns changes, etc.

Next on my todo list is setting up WildDuck as a dedicated email server/service... then hopefully I can drop sendgrid as an email relay (assuming delivery isn't a significant issue).

Good luck with that, let us know how it goes. I'd love to host my email at home again, but IP-based SPAM blocks, DKIM and DMARC are a pain - I've been dealing with that at work.

You have a very impressive ability to take something relatively straight-forward, and turn it into a convoluted and complicated ordeal.
Hard to know why you would do that at every chance you get.

I can't speak for Tracker1, but I like simple solutions - yet, my
network is far more complicated than it should be. I do that mostly as a
dress rehearsal for things I'd encounter at work. It gives me a chance
to break things without being a Billable Problem.

Will do... I was using MailU before... which works pretty well, but that I was on a cloud host, the IP had issues with delivery on a couple of the major email providers... Gmail and O365 worked, but outlook.com and a couple others didn't... so had been relaying through SendGrid since.

MailU is a configuration script that setups up a Docker-compose file that you can just run in an environment with Docker. The configuration is pretty straight forward though, and gives you what you need to add to DNS for dkim, etc. https://mailu.io/2.0/

WildDuck is a different beast, first is the core API system, which is pretty neat, and they have a gmail-like webmail client, but afaik, no read admin interface as of yet... But should be easier to integrate with other pieces.

I'm not sure what you are refering to in the context above... I have a block of IPs that are assigned to the host server in addition to the main IP... how would *YOU* suggest configuring that in a more simple way?
