I'd love one. They're a tad bit expensive nowadays on eBay but a 500 or 1200 would be a fantastic system to play around with. I haven't had any experience

I've got a 1200 in my cupboard at the moment and Monkey Island boxed up.
It's really a joy to pop out, unfortunately my new TV doesn't exactly
    play well with it.

I've got a tonne of games on disk for it as well, the person I bought it
from years ago really was active with this thing.

Although, I probably wouldn't risk the eBay market now days, I got all
this for like 30 quid back in the pre-10s now days I'd imagine they'd be hawking it for like 40k.

That's really awesome. You should look into getting a period specific CRT monitor for it which, in my opinion, would be so much better than an LCD screen . Monkey Island is the first point-and-click adventure game I ever played so playing on original hardware would be so nostalgic. I am a big fan of the genre ... I wonder if any other similar games were released on Amiga. Yes, it seems like a decade ago vintage hardware went for a lot less on auction sites such as eBay. Nnow would be a good time to sell anything you don't want!
