• Microsoft ending 32-bit s

I didn't get the "no more new 32-bit installations" part. Just no new (OEM) 32-bit systems. But I agree, it's the beginning of a phase-out.

Maybe DOSBox might need to be used, but I wish we could figure out how
to use it on a 64 bit bbs.

It sounded like Microsoft will no longer be making 32-bit builds availabl OEMs, and will only be providing 64-bit builds of Windows to OEMs for new machines in the future (but will continue to support existing 32-bit installations).

i dont even think as a consumer i have seen a windows 32bit oem desktop on t market since vista.

i'm sure there are a few if you REALLY look, but just by visiting stores and looking online, i havent came across one in a long time.

Come to think of it, any 32 bit Win7 installs I've seen were "upgrades."

I like to build my own desktop PC, so I like to have Windows install media that can do a fresh stand-alone install. For my last couple PCs I've built, I've bought OEM copies of Windows 7 (64-bit) and Windows 10 to install on the PC.

I think I actually still have an extra OEM copy of Windows 7 64-bit around here somewhere. I had a Mac laptop at one point and bought a copy of Windows 7 to install in a VM on it. I've since sold that Mac laptop, but I kept the copy of Windows 7.

well i have several legal windows licenses but i like the isos on my torrent sites where it has every flavor of windows. in those isos where you select the version of windows you want to download they can have 32bit installs.

or they have an iso with all 32bit and another one for 64bit
