I just saw this news article today - China to ban online gaming, chatting >> > with oreigners outside Great Firewall:
https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3916690
Why?
Nightfox actually posted that. My guess is so that their citizens, who are
not free, cannot talk to (or get any ideas from) people who are free.
Might make them realize that things there are not so great.
They may also use the gaming platforms as another means to communicate the extent of their issues with the coronavirus (which their government is allegedly downplaying), or to warn us of the next pandemic that is coming
out of their country (like they tried to with this one, and were punished
for it).
