    Thanks, I was setting up QWK networking on Mystic and had a few hiccups, but it all seems to be working now. It was more a self learning exercise, so I could help another Mystic sysop to connect to DOVE-Net. :)

    Slightly OT, but are you noticing any display issues? I have some
    linewrapping issues and it appears some messages make it to me (from dovenet via vert) with what looks like the dreaded 255 character issue.

    Is it in the original message? Certain settings in SBBS allow Multimail to see that kludge, which is handy to see where messages have come from. :)

    Haven't sent any messages from there long enough. And I'm not running the prealphas with that issue anyway.

    It's metadata (a header field) in the original message, not intended to be part of the message body text. But yeah, you have the option (in Synchronet) to include the @VIA kludge in the message text. If it doesn't bother you being included in the message text, then that's fine. I just wanted to make sure you knew that it could be eliminated.

    That's exactly how Synchronet is expecting external message editors to create messages nowadays for best rendering on all display conditions. And it's always how the FidoNet standards suggested messages should be stored/transferred.

    Yeah, I chose to have it included in my QWK packets, and yes I normally post from Synchronet, no need to say the rest (you know what's in there better than I do ;) ).

    I hope he does eventually, if he hasn't before. Rob (Digital Man) has all of the documentation to Synchronet's QWK extensions publicly available.

    I am, Synchronet is acting as the hub for DOVE-Net here, with Mystic as the node. And mail is now flowing both ways. :) And I'm liking how Synchronet can be both a hub and a node at the same time (node to VERT, hub to BRIDGE). :)

    Ahh, OK. I do know TickIT, which I use (and still manually tweak tickit.ini), and of course, echocfg is an important part of FTN for Synchronet. :)
