    Although the boredom of Day 3 of Covid hilarity is starting to set in, I decided that I should probably get The Palace server up and running.

    Is there anybody out there in DOVE-Net land that still uses a Palace
    Server or is interested in starting their own ?

    basically, it is/was 2D graphical IRC... instead of channels, you have rooms... instead of a list of user names, you have avatars...

    the rooms are linked kinda like dungeon rooms...

    when i was using palace, my avatar was comet hyakutake... yeah, i had one back in the day ;)

    My bad, The Palace was a graphical chat server / client that was fairly popular in the 90s,
    still a bit of following now days but it's falling in to the abandonware category really...

    Thanks! I think a overseas friend of mine and I used to use chat servers
    like that some. Sounds neat!
