not that i know of... mine was still there when i logged on after maybe a decade or more... it only needed to go through a conversion process... the entire site, however, is a lot different than it was in the beginning... the target audience and format are hugely different...

Yeah, that's probably what actually happened and I misread
something. I wouldn't know cuz I never used MySpace.
When MySpace was popular, I just saw no need for one. I
was more interested in things like reading Pokemon
fansites or posting on Nintendo forums. I had heard of
Facebook before it became popular, but I also didn't see
the need to have one until everyone started using it. So
I had maybe first heard of Facebook around 2007-ish but
first joined in 2009 when all of my friends had one.
