• Spider-Man Reboots

I think they've rebooted the Spiderman movies several
    times, Ni> haven't they? Sometimes I don't know why
they reboot Ni> movies so Ni> often these days.

Sony rebooted Spider-Man the first time because Spider-Man
4 was in development hell and after the critical failure
of 3 they already had a backup plan with a reboot script.
Then, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 bombed even harder and
Sony's incompetence was leaked in emails stolen by North
Korean hackers after the whole debacle with the movie,
"The Interview." Somy of Japan pushed for Sony Pictures
to make a deal with Marvel to have Spider-man in the MCU
because they thought that people might be interested in
tye character again if they did that. In the leaked
emails, Kevin Feige said Marvel Studios would NEVER reboot
the MCU, they'd only recast characters. So, ideally this
is the Spider-Man we would've gotten after Tobey Maguire
anyways, (well, maybe not Tom Holland cuz he wouldn't have
been old enough,) and it would be ideally the last movie
incarnation of Spider-Man, except Sony has been producing
non-MCU movies with Spider-Man characters so that if
their deal with Marvel Studios expires, they don't lose
the rights. Plus it gives them an already established
unuverse to plop another rebooted Spider-Man in to, so
basically, who knows what's gonna happen.

SONY is done with spiderman after the third spiderman movie. they licensed him for cheap [and they were offered the entire mcu catalog and refused].

disney doenst need the money so i am pretty sure sony is done after the next spiderman movie. there is one after 2019's movie and that's it.

the spiderman movies suck, and the venom movie sucked.

also the xmen movies suck[formerly fox]. i dont want anymore spiderman or xmen movies.

I'm confused. The third Spider-Man movie would be the third produced by Disney, and it's questionable whether Disney will be able to do another one afterwards. Sony still owns the Spider-Man movie rights, but they signed a contract
with Disney to let them use the character in the MCU for a set number of movies, and during that time Sony can't use Spider-Man himself bu they can still use Spider-Man characters. Sony got the Spider-Man movie rights in the first
place because throughout the '90s Carolco was producing a Spider-Man movie but then Carolco and Marvel went bankrupt around the same time and there was a legal battle between the company that had the telvision rights for that movie,
MGM, and the company that had the home video rights for that movie, Sony, and they settled by Sony trading James Bond to MGM for Spider-Man. I also heard something about Sony being offered the entire Marvel Universe's cast of
characters, but I'm not sure when that happened.

The point is, it's Disney who would be done after the third movie, so I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say.

disney bought marvel. disney owns spiderman

sony was approached by marvel years ago and were offered the entire mcu catalog.

sony thought that spiderman was the only one worth it, so made a rights deal for spiderman. after that deal is up, it reverts back to disney.

spiderman was in the avengers movie and tony stark was in spiderman movies based on a deal the studios made with eachother.

disney owns marvel and sony is 'renting' spiderman.
the other characters in the spiderman universe are also limited by the contract they agreed on.

I'd love to see Miles Morales in the MCU. along with Spider-Gwen, or any of the other spider-people from the multiverse.

What's the one thing an insanely wealthy person won't ever turn down?

    More money.

the spiderman movies suck, and the venom movie sucked.

Venom was OK. the MCU Spider-Man is a goddamn treasure, though.

also the xmen movies suck[formerly fox]. i dont want anymore spiderman or xmen movies.

I have a love-hate relationship with the X-Men films. The casting of the original X-Men was phenominal. The first X-Men film was good. The ones that followed weren't so great. They blew the talent with horrible writing and stories.

The "First Class" crew is OK. The best film they did was "Days of Future Past" was the best out of that series.

Honestly, the best things to come from Fox's X-Men series was the final Wolverine film, and Deadpool.

Deadpool was the comic book film that adults always wanted.

I can translate for you. What MRO is saying is "I am an idiot, and I'm talking out of my ass. I hold no actual knowledge about anything but speak as if I know all. Do not pay attention to me."
