  • BBSLink Wall and Door games

    is anyone else having issues with BBSLink stuff?
    all of a sudden the wall and doors and Solar & Terrestrial Data stopped working on my BBS just wondering if its just my BBS or if there is a problem that I need to make Mark aware of.

    check your modopts.ini and see if it has been overwritten by something, it's happened to me.

    thats when all my crap stopped working just about it and was getting close to 200 errors a day.

    If you're running a utility like PeerBlock, the games won't work
    right. I have noticed that by not running such, Synchronet Control Panel doesn't crash as often...but I had to reboot the system last night after reinstalling some drivers...and have to do it again shortly with the
    "2nd Tuesday Windows Update".

    Strange. I've heard that if you run updates in Windows 10, it causes
    tons of problems. I'm sticking with Windows 7 32-bit myself; but it took
    over an hour to update the BBS computer yesterday, and everything else
    was shut down. The laptop, which has a slower CPU, updated faster than
    the BBS computer.

    But, I heard there were other issues with politics, etc., so I decided
    to quit the network.

    OK what ever happened it is working now.
    I did nothing to my system but I did email Mark so maybe there was a problem on hi end?
