back in the early 90's we'd have sysop meets ( a lot of us had to be driven to them by their partents) or the ones with brave parents would let them ride with me, I had just turned sixteen and already been driving back and forth to work for 3 years (yeah.. was'nt so lng ago, about 15-16 years, see how much our countr has turned police state since then) If I got caught doing that now I would go to STATE prison for 10 years for attempted murder. but anyone think it is strange that our younges sysop (about 12) love Yanni, had all of his RECORDS, and listened to live at the acropolis over and over?? This is how we created the NOrthwest GA Fidonet hub over a weekend retreat. using Planet Connect Satellite, If I only knew then what I know know.. lol..

I remember the days of those in the Little Rock area many years ago.
We'd gather at a local venue, and the cuisine varied. But, it was fun
putting faces to names, etc. With my BBS, and one another Sysop also
running Synchronet BBS in the area (Captain Kiwi)...while we're the only
2 left...every so often, we'll meet on Sunday morning or something at a
nearby Denny's (the only one left in Little Rock) for lunch...and to
chew the fat, set up exchanging items for our BBS's (since we both run Synchronet), etc.
