  • My BBS will expire in 13 days?

    WHen I try to log into my local BBS I get a message that says "Your account will expire in 13 days!" Why is it saying this?

    Look your account up in uedit and see if you have an expire date set for
    your user account.

    Chances are you didn't upgrade your sysop account, and your default new
    user is setup to expire within 13 days of new signup, in the case that
    they didn't get validated within the first 2 weeks. To fix this, use the
    User Menu, then select Editor, Then, validate your record by upgrading
    yourself to level 99, or select the option to validate to sysop status.
