Useful when you dont to make eye contact with people you walk past.

What, do you just walk down main street with your eyes glued to your wrist or something? I can't imagine someone using their watch to avoid eye contact without looking like a fool. Phone, magazine, book, newspaper, sure, but your wrist watch? Lmao

first i get close enough to where you either look at the guy like a faggot or not. then i look at my watch and pass him. i probably need to know what the time is anyways. using a book, magazine, newspaper sounds foolish.

Whisper into it, they'll keep their distance.

"Normal spotted, approximately 185 centimeters, use a grappling ray on the suspect, appears to be able to see us..."

Back when everyone wore a watch that was pretty common. They were also
used to get rid of people who did start talking to you... "Gee, look at the time, gotta run!"

you know, now that they've come out with the fancier watches that also keep track of biometric info, like the bitfits, etc., I have noticed a lot more people have started wearing them again, too.
