Microsoft C 3.0 took overnight to download. Not sure why I wanted it now, most of my coding with Microsoft Quick C, their Turbo C copy with an IDE.

My youth was spent programming in Turbo Pascal - it was easy to pirate, and since nobody else in the area knew C the concept of pointers and so on was totally alien to me.

Now that I've taken up BBSing 25 years later, I'm finding that everything I want to mod is in Pascal again and I've forgotten everything I knew in lieu
of all the C/C++/Java I had to learn for my CS degree. :)
