I dont want to do the whole > thing for all of the past posts, but the talk about how some ISPs now charge extra for netflix and whatnot really pisses me off. The net should stay free. Theres no other reason besides greed for this bullshit.
aren they only doing this for *unlimited data for cellphones for
netflix,etc
if an isp is charging you more for using streaming, that's wrong and i would drop them. i even went to streaming only recently and cut my bill in half

I have true unlimited 4G LTE with my cell provider and love it.

Yeah, I think Comcast has a cap on residential for 3TB per month, which, aside from the block of static IP addresses I get, is why I went ahead
and got their business class service and have been happy with it ever
since. Even the customer support is decent.

I doubt they'd charge extra for telnet, im certain theyd only charge extra for big sites liek facebook, netflix, hulu, reddit, etc.
Even worse than that (at least in my eyes) are these new data caps. Only 1tb a month? Thats a joke for anyone that watches twitch/streams movies/download games.
Instead of improving service and pricing they somehow manage to make service WORSE and charge you MORE for it. Leave the internet alone. For fucks sake.
Maybe we'll get some kind of pirate internet using blockchain out of all this.
