Just bought the Netgear Nighthawk C7100V router vioce modem, So far it's way better than the Xfinity / Comcast Aris voice modem router.
Now My phoneline actually works so now I have two landlines.
I'm thinking about buying a USB modem to add a call in to my BBS since I really don't need two landlines.
I either need a USB modem or an external modem, not sure how good the cheap ebay USB modems are, has anyone had any experience with them?
The router end of this unit has built in DOS protection.
If I don't set up a call in line for the BBS then I guess it would become a dedicated FAX line.
