because of TOO MANY HACK ATTEMPTS. It did it automatically.. I'm sick of all the trolls. so the BBS is down to the public and can only be accessed via dialup. DoveNet is going next.. since Digital Man allows so many trolls and just plain sick people to roam freely. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For some reason he assumes that someone on my BBS or my BBS hacked him?
I Know roadhog and he definatly is not hacking his BBS.

That's a shame, really. Admittedly, I had moments to where I wanted to give up BBSing because of a few people. However, I'm still here.

look, tim is a nice guy but he has also had a lifetime of depression and hard drug usage. he goes though phases and sometimes he's okay and then he's launching the nukes. tim tried to bait me into an argument that we've had probably 20 times and i gave him a chance to drop it and he didnt so i blocked him. that solved that problem. probably shouldnt have to see that annoying bullshit especially when it's already been done.

i really dont think dovenet has a 'troll' problem but there are opinionated people and i'm not the nicest fella sometimes. you just cant let shit get to you, especially when you dont know people in real life. i'm sure if we all got together in the real world we'd all get along fine for the most part.

we live in a world now that if someone thinks something is offensive to THEM, it must be reported! it must be removed from everyone else's view. if you arent part of the popular liberal opinion you are a plethera of bad things.

regarding roadhog, i dont know the guy but i dont think he's trying to 'hack' a bbs. i'm not sure if he's accusing you of being roadhog or one of you using the other's bbs.

tim hasnt really been able to keep his bbs stable on the
internet for more than a couple of months since i've known the guy for about 16 or so years. so he's probably not used to 'hack attempts' from bots and combine that with his paranoia that makes for a bad mix.


he will be back when he gets his life in order or whatever is going on now is over with. he will be back in a year or two.

I guess my BBS was the only BBS that Roadhog calls as far as I've seen, So yes the echo'd ip would be the same as my BBS.

That's a shame, really. Admittedly, I had moments to where I wanted to give up BBSing because of a few people. However, I'm still here.

It is a shame that he would give up on all his hard work on his system, I have logged in there several times and it is a well put together BBS.

I went through the messages between Tim and Roadhog and I would say that Tim was just as rude to roadhog as roadhog was to him.
I hate to see anyone give up a good hobby over a few heated words.

Yeah he somehow thinks that either roadhog or my BBS is somehow hacking his, thats really not the case though, I did have my BBS polling his BBSLink message base 2 times a day for messages and score files, I do know roadhog and I know he is definatly not to computer savvy so I know he is not hacking anyone.

Look, I agreed with Tim on a few things, and Roadhog on a few things as well, and I don't think that whole feud between the two of them is worth getting upset over.

I agree that people have been going way overboard with their viewpoints, and all sides feel like they have to agressiverly protect their viewpoints by the name callimg and the attacking. It's not a productive way to live.

are open minded and all about freedom of speech ( wich I am )

The test is to accept that people will have differents view, And might be strong in theirs beliefs. Over the years i’ve learn that it’s better to walk out of discussion than try to win it when the opposing side is lock in their views.


It’s so easy to be open minded when everybody share the same view :-)
