Comet looks pretty interesting. The last time I connected an antenna I was interested in the number of channels and programming you could get for free.
Yes, it is very nice.. depending on conditions, we can pick up at least 30 channels and at times up to 60, but at times even passing traffic or a lawnmower next door can affect our reception. of course I could probably cure that by getting some height onto the antenna.
I have a mountain range between me and the stations now. :(
I understand fully, I sit between two mountain ranges and have hills pretty much all around, luckily I have a fairly clear los to the chattanooga broadcasters, and at times we can get rome and atlanta stations in too.
and luckily all of our public broadcast stations come off the antenna on top of the mountain I have direct los to.
