i tried to grab his file areas when his bbs was running after he died but his computer crashed on me.

Unfortunately nobody kept up on his website and radio data either, so his domain and archives (except for a bulk of stuff that I got from archive.org years ago which probably isn't even 33% of it) are lost in the ether.

the website shit and his domains were owned and managed by that
one guy admin99 or whatever his name is. he insisted on being in total control of the dns for the website.

i wanted to grab all the 'warlock' and 'oddnet' stuff. that was the stuff that was unique to his bbs and his bbs comrades. the rest of his stuff was just usual files that old bbses had.

And by "total control" I'm guessing you mean "exclusive access" since he let everything expire and made it inaccessible to all of us commoners.

i think he paid for everything so kept it all. it wasnt a special operation anyways. someone can rent a server for cheap and put all that shit up on it and more in a day or so.
