    cap'n: Short for "captain"

You were good until there. cap'n is short for the greatest cereal on the S>planet...if you enjoy cutting the roof of your mouth and cheeks while eating S>it!

I remember Captain Crunch, Quisp, and Quake. While Captain Crunch is
still around, Quisp and Quake are long gone. There was a contest on if
Quake should be eliminated...and Quisp was amazed that Quake had such a following!! My brother and I used to argue over which was better.

The thing is, if you don't eat it quick in a bowl of milk, it gets
    soggy in a hurry.

    Tim,

That and doritos, I believe they are made from the same substance.

I love the Nacho Cheese Doritos, but they are so MESSY to eat.

At one time, Lay's had a "Sausage Gravy Biscuit" potato chip (to my knowledge, they quit making it), and it literally tasted like biscuits
    with sausage gravy!!

They still have the Dill Pickle chip, which tastes like dill pickles,
    but without the juice.

One of my favorite cereals in the 80s was Almond Delight. That cereal isn't around anymore though, unfortunately.

One cereal that I actually like when it's soggy is Raisin Bran.

I've had some of the dill flavored chips. I think they're okay, but they aren't my favorite.

There are a couple flavors I've heard are popular in Canada, which have been sold in the US in limited quantities: One is ketchup, and the other is Ruffles "All Dressed". I found some ketchup chips at a store near me quite a while ago, and I actually liked them. More recently I've seen Ruffles "All Dressed" chips in the store and tried them - I like those too. The All Dressed taste (to me) somewhat like ketchup with a little barbecue mixed in.

Yup.. and will give you a cut that would take a trip to the ER to fix.

I love sausage, gravy, and biscuits.. and of course bacon. bit I dunno about it on potato chips.

Yeah, I lke those.. they're pretty much sour cream and onion to me :)

I like it fresh, but I can't eat too much fiber...the digestive tract
    will throw a fit. That's why I can't eat corn anymore <SOB!>, and can't
    do salads too often.

The fun part about Raisin Bran after it is soggy: after getting through the flakes, finding the raisins. :)

No way. Spicy Sweet Chili is where it's at! With Cool Ranch a very close second.

I eat Nacho Cheese Doritos, but only with dip...which really should be a sin
& unnecessary, but they're just that boring :D

heheh mine was...and yes it's still around but no idea who eats
    it...Cracklin' Oat Bran!

One cereal that I actually like when it's soggy is Raisin Bran.

Agreed as long as there's still ample raisin left to back it up. As soon as it's a soggy bowl without anymore sweetness to break it up, I'm out!
